Properties of Logarithms

1. Product Property:

   $${\log }_b(xy)={\log }_{b}x+{\log }_{b}y$$

2. Quotient Property:

   $${\log }_b\left(\frac{x}{y}\right)={\log }_{b}x-{\log }_{b}y$$

3. Power Property:

   $${\log }_b(x^n)=n\cdot {\log }_{b}x$$
